GoldQuest International Ltd. was formed by diverse but formidable entities: an investment group from the EU and Asean as well as an Asian team of industry leaders with extensive networking experience called the V-TEAM. This powerful fusion of corporate and networking expertise has laid a strong foundation for the stable existence of the company that is dedicated to building opportunities not just for itself but for all of its customers.
GoldQuest is led by the honorable corporate chairman, Mr. Aulis Juhana Makitalo, who worked for many years with internationally respected agencies such as the United Nations Development Fund and the Asian Development Bank. Assisting him are various international directors whose special fields of expertise propel the company into a new millennium of dynamic expansion and growth.
The company was founded in the midst of economic turmoil and dilemma---the unforgettable Asian crisis of 1998. While other companies were folding up, GoldQuest was rising up to the challenge of the times. GoldQuest was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). As a British dependent territory with a long history of political stability, the BVI offers all the security traditionally associated with the British flag. The local currency of the BVI is the American dollar. There are no exchange controls and no restrictions on movment of currency funds. International banking, commerce and financial services are available whilecommunication facilities in the BVI are highly-rated. The BVI has thus become the premier offshore corporate domicile with presently more than 290,000 international and non-resident companies registered.
